Rory Viale: Totemspeak
Born during the Ducks Fly Moon
Birth Totem: The Raven
Other Totems: Black Wolf, Lynx, Barn Owl, Mockingbird
Totemspeak is a result of my own spiritual curiosity, particularly towards the Native American concept of totems, and everything that I have learned since I first dove into the idea. Though I had always been interested in the culture and have had an above-average affinity for animals, it took real personal experiences to really get me studying all there is to know about totems. When I was confronted with my first true animal totem, I realized that I don't have to live in the middle of the forest or go on a totem-revealing vision quest to connect myself to the spiritual world that embodies Native American cultures. And so, this blog's purpose is to make you realize that anybody, including yourself, can also connect with nature and its inhabitants that have so much wisdom to pass on.
